"The Premier Summer Miata Tour Event"
July 16-19, 2015

"EXPLORE OREGON” is an annual premier multi-day event, organized by the Willamette Valley Miata club. Be prepared to enjoy some of Oregon’s most beautiful and historic scenery and explore the awesome back roads of the Southern Oregon Valley as we spend an incredible weekend in Grants Pass, OR.

Grants Pass is where Pacific Northwest adventures begin! On the banks of Oregon’s legendary Rogue River, Grants Pass is among the greatest places in the American West for whitewater thrills, forest trails, fly fishing, friendly faces, and a dynamic local arts and entertainment scene. Come visit!

Grants Pass served as a stagecoach stop in the 1860's and became a rail head with the completion of the Oregon-California Railroad (now Southern Pacific) in 1884. The name was selected to honor General U.S. Grant's success at Vicksburg and the post office was established in 1865. Until after the turn of the century our name still retained the original spelling of Grant's Pass, using an apostrophe.

Lodging is a hot commodity for this event so book yours as soon as you know you are going to be there:

This year due to hotel size limitations to accommodate our group we had to book two hotels, the nice thing is that they are owned by the same company and the only thing that really separates them is a parking lot.

The Lodge at Riverside The Lodge at Riverside is located along the scenic Rogue River just 2 miles from I5, convenient to Hellgate Jetboat Excursions, downtown shopping, Historic G Street and Applegate Valley wineries. We offer 33 oversized guestrooms and suites, most with private patios or balconies facing the Rogue River. All rooms feature pillow top beds with feather duvets, robes, iron and ironing boards, hairdryers, coffee makers, air conditioning and refrigerators. Complimentary parking, wireless Internet, cable TV with HBO and local phone calls. All accommodations include an evening wine reception, fresh baked cookies and deluxe continental breakfast.

Riverside Inn Located on the banks of the Rogue River in Grants Pass, Oregon. The Riverside Inn has 63 guest rooms, each with a private balcony overlooking the river. The largest full service hotel on the Rogue River, the Riverside Inn is just next door to Hellgate Jetboat Excursions, Taprock Northwest Grill and a few blocks away from the historic 'G' Street shopping and dining area in downtown Grant's Pass.
