The trip will start with breakfast at The Country Rose Café in Spanaway at 8:00 am (address is 15803 Pacific Ave S. Hwy 7) to 9:00 am.  Come fully fueled and ready to go.

At 9:00 am we will depart taking Hwy 7 (south) for 30 miles through the town of Elbe then take a right over bridge continuing 17 miles on Hwy 7 to the town of Morton.

We will take a bathroom break at the Chevron gas and store, then proceed out of Morton to US 12 and go left (east) for 17 miles to the town of Randel. Then make a right on to Country Road 9009 go 1 mile and take a right on to Wood Creek Rd. Go 1.4 miles take a left on to NF-25, then go 23 miles and then take a right on to NF-99 for 2.9 miles, then take a right off of NF-99 and YOU HAVE ARRIVED at Mt. St. Helens National Monument.

From 12:30 to 2:30 have lunch and Group Photos.

Depart at 2:30 making a stop at the lookout for more Group and Scenic Photos.

Then drive home, alternate route for the people up north can take the US 12 (West) to I -5 north (Riffe Lake is on the left on US 12 for a nice stop as well) or follow me back through Morton and the winding roads past AlderLake.
